It has been a great four years for Chailey Heritage’s school wheelchair football team and we have been devoutly sponsored by Godfrey Investments.
This coming Friday, March 30th the new Brighton Bombers wheelchair football team are to be presented with our new kit by the team at Godfrey Investments. This will be followed by a wheelchair football match between the Brighton Bombers and Chailey Heritage secondary who are now proudly wearing our old kit.
I have been running the team for four years at Chailey Heritage and have loved every minute of it, now that I am part of 19 plus we are in a transitional stage moving away from the school itself and so we have renamed ourselve the new Brighton Bombers.
We are hoping to have the local south eastern wheelchair football league operating in no time at all!

But within that time have shown evidence of a real and growing commitment to considerate site practices. It is a credit to the aims of the scheme.
Following the award, Considerate Construction had this to say:
“The commitment of this company and its site staff to maintaining an exceptional level of site presentation was clear from the complimentary letters received from residents at the monitored site. It is company policy to allocate a labourer to ongoing litter picking, road mud hosing, hoarding maintenance and signage cleaning, as well as keeping well-maintained site welfare facilities. The success of this policy was clearly observed on and around site by the scheme’s monitor.”
Godfrey Investments also observes strict environmental guidelines with particular regard to waste management. Scoring 100% diversion-from-landfill rating, the monitored site also reclaimed demolition materials whilst donating waste wood to a local wood recycling scheme.
